DAY 1

DAY 2
Yukari Beycik to Ulupinar villageIn the morning we leave Antalya and drive towards Yukari Beycik, a charming mountain village located at the foot of Mt. Tahtali (Mount Olympos), an impressive peak with a beautiful steep face. Here you start your hike on stabilized gravel roads and walking paths through a picturesque valley, with green and fertile pastures and stunning views all the way. Via old mule paths and stabilized roads, through pine and conifer forests, you will reach the village of Ulupinar, a small settlement best known for its delightful riverside restaurants and fish farms.Walking time: 4 h; walking distance: 10,1 km; ascent: 50m; descent: 680mTransfer time: 1 - 2 h; transfer distance: 80 km (Antalya to Yukari Beycik village)ON: in Ulupinar village at the hotelMeals: B / - / D -
DAY 3
Tekirova to Cirali, beautiful coastal walkIn the morning after breakfast you will be driven to Tekirova, where you start your trek. Today’s route is a mixture of dirt road and footpath which is labelled with red and white marks, the Lycian Way signs. The first part of the route goes over an old mine road until we reach Maden beach; then goes further along rocky paths and isolated beaches. You will have swimming chances on the way and accompanied with fantastic panoramic views. The path makes a lot of turns and at the end finally will take you down to an asphalt road and from there to Cirali, a peaceful village between ancient Olympos and Chimaera, along the turquoise coast.At the end of the walk you will be picked up and transferred back to your overnight accommodation in Ulupinar village.Walking time: 7 - 8 h; walking distance: 18,1 km; ascent: 215m; descent: 205mTransfer time: 15 - 20 min.; transfer distance: 20 km (Ulupinar village to Tekirova)Transfer time: 10 - 15 min.; transfer distance: 15 km (Cirali to Ulupinar village)Meals: B / - / D -
DAY 4
Ulupinar to Cirali via flames of the ChimairaToday’s walk takes you through a beautiful pine forest with nice streams, rivers and viewpoints. You start your hike in Ulupinar where you pick up the Lycian way and continue to follow the trail south. After following the stream for a while, you climb up to a small hill and follow the walking path to the flames of Chimaira, called in Turkish Yanartas (flaming rock). The spot consists of some two dozen vents in the ground, grouped in two patches on the hillside. The vents emit methane thought to be of metamorphic origin. In ancient times sailors could navigate by the flames. Afterwards you make a gradual descent to the coast, finally arriving at the beach at Cirali. DAY 5
Cirali to Adrasan via ancient Olympos & Musa Dag (Mount Moses)Today’s trek will take you to Adrasan; you first pass Olympos ancient site; situated in a river valley near the coast. The former city of Olympos was founded in the Hellenistic period, presumably taking its name from nearby Mount Olympos. Afterwards you trek via Musa Dag (Mount Moses) over the ridges covered with pine woods. The path will take you to the top, where you can see Adrasan valley at the saddle. From the top you will descent down to Adrasan; the path goes in the pine woods and reaches the sea level.Adrasan itself is a pleasant small settlement with a 2 km long sand beach; an attractive choice for those who like to have a swim in the sea.Walking time: 8 h; walking distance: 16,1 km; ascent: 720m; descent: 720mON: in Adrasan village at the hotelMeals: B / - / D -
DAY 6
Karaoz to Adrasan via Gelidonya lighthouseA simply superb day of coastal walking awaits you today. After a short transfer to the area of Karaoz you start your trek on a wide trail up through pine forest and ascent a stony path to the upper of these leading you to a rocky ridge crest overlooking the peninsula of cape Gelidonya with its two lighthouses. You continue your hike with beautiful views down to hidden coves and across to desert islands. This is a beautiful walk contouring the range of hills which forms the backbone of Gelidonya. Then dropping down closer to the sea’s edge, the route twists and turns amongst limestone crags sometimes under pine trees and sometimes on the cliff edge until you steadily descent a pass with and altitude of around 470 metres. At the end of your trek you will arrive in Adrasan where you spend the night at the hotel.Walking time: 5 - 6 h; walking distance: 15,7 km; ascent: 325m; descent: 405mTransfer time: 30 - 40 min.; transfer distance: 30 km (Adrasan to Karaoz area)ON: in Adrasan village at the hotelMeals: B / - / D -
DAY 7
Adrasan to AntalyaAfter having breakfast there is a private transfer from your overnight accommodation in Adrasan to the main road where you will take the bus to Antalya. In Antalya you will further need to take a Taxi to your overnight accommodation in the old city centre, known as Kaleici. Tell the driver you want to go to Kesik Minaret in the old city (Kaleici) as your overnight accommodation is near here. Most of the drivers speak enough English to understand the address. The late afternoon is at leisure to discover Antalya and the old city centre Kaleici on your own way.ON: in Antalya at the hotelMeals: B / - / - -
DAY 8
